    Hanging Air Plant {Styled X3}

    By Stacy 9 Comments

    I have really enjoyed hosting this new series! I love picking out an item I think the other bloggers would like and then seeing what they do with it in their homes. This month we have Liz from Love Grows Wild and Jen from I Heart Organizing!

    This month I picked an air plant in a glass globe. You can either hang it or, since the globe has a flat bottom, place it on a surface. I LOVE a hanging planter so I chose to hang mine!

    Since my house is currently torn apart due to repainting, I have a bunch of displaced plants who are waiting for their shelves to be hung so they have a home. I put them on my mantel for now. It seemed like a good place to add my air plant as well.

    P.S. Can you tell what is different with my fireplace? You guys who follow on instagram will know for sure!

    I bought the glass globe through amazon and it is 4.5" across. It came with the air plant too! It was really inexpensive so I think I am going to order a bunch more. I think hanging them in a group would give even more impact.

    It may not be how I have my mantel decorated all the time, but there is nothing wrong with changing things up a bit! And while the rest of the house is a mess, it is nice to have one spot that looks put together.

    Make sure to check and see what Jen and Liz did with their air plants! Where would you put yours? Do you have an air plant already?

      Looks great! We brought back a few air plants from Florida [we live in Virginia] and I wasn't sure what to do with them. Thanks for the link!

      By the way I found your blog recently and started following all of your good stuff.

      I love what you did with your air plant! I totally have a giant pile of house plants without a home at the moment too, so I know exactly how you feel. The chalkboard quote ties the look together beautifully. Thanks so much for inviting me to be part of your fun series, Stacy! :)

      I love the idea of your styling challenges - how fun!

      I'm moving into a new pad and will definitely play around with some of these ideas. The air plants look so lovely and light, can't wait to experiment.

      Thank you so much for this cute idea. I was searching for a gardening-related gift for my mom that I could mail her and this is perfect!! I hope you get credit from your link, since I purchased a slightly different item.
