    Strawberry lady bugs

    By Stacy Leave a Comment

I made these strawberry lady bugs for a birthday party. The kids loved them! And they are pretty simple to make.

If the strawberry doesn't lay flat (most don't) then cut part of it off.

I melted some chocolate in the microwave and then put it in a sandwich bag with one of the corners cut out. I held the strawberry to put the head on and then laid it down on the wax paper.

I added dots and antennae. When doing the antennae, go over them twice to make sure they are thick enough to survive being taken off the wax paper later. Make sure they are completely set up before you try to take them off. Make more than you will need in case you have some break.

I made these for a garden party to go with some finger sandwiches. They would be cute food for a tea party as well or would be darling on top of a cupcake.
