We are currently getting over the 7 plagues of January. Everything from the flu to pink eye. I usually deep clean my house in January when I pack up the holiday decor, but I had extra motivation this year. I needed those pesky germs GONE. My favorite weapon of choice in that battle is a steam machine! The things you can clean and sanitize are practically endless. You can use it in every room. Here is how you can steam clean your whole house!

Steam Clean Your Whole House!
I'm going to share my favorite ways to use the steamer around my house and my favorite things to clean!
There are few tools as versatile as my Wagner 915e Power Steamer. The things you can steam clean are almost endless. I wrote a post awhile back about 40 things you can clean with a steamer. Probably my favorite thing to clean with it is the toilet.
One of the hardest and yuckiest places to clean are the hinges on the toilet. Before getting a steamer, I use to have to take the toilet seat off to get in those cracks. The steamer blasts all the gross stuff out in seconds.
While you are in the bathroom, you can also steam the floor, grout, shower, sink, baseboards, mirror, faucets, tub, vents, door knobs, doors, and vanity.
Another thing I love to use my steam cleaner on is upholstery.
It is nice to refresh the fabric and sanitize it without strong smelling sprays.
While you are in the living room, you can also steam the curtains, pillows, baseboards, windows, window tracts, and light switches.
The same goes for rugs and carpet!
In between shampooing jobs, I like to freshen up the rugs. There's a brush attachment and a pad. It helps get rid of that corn chip smell, if you know what I mean. Boys and their feet are gross!
Like the bathroom, the kitchen is another place where pretty much all surfaces can be steam cleaned.
I have a top mount sink so I love using it along the edges where stuff gets stuck and that little gap behind the faucet. The small plastic brush is perfect for getting that narrow space.
You can also steam clean the microwave, stove top, oven, floors, cabinets (inside and out), fridge (inside and out), windows and window tracts, counters, dishwasher, and garbage can.
One of the more satisfying things to steam clean (at least for me) is mopping my floors. I don't know if it is because I have boys and a dog that track in all kinds of stuff all day long, but there is something so nice about having CLEAN floors! It leaves it clean without any residue or streaks.
Other ideas of where you can use your steamer in your house are:
Toys, mattress, wrinkled clothes, high chairs, car seats, bins, shoe organizers, air vents, blinds, garbages, light switches, and walls.
