    Gallery Wall

    By Stacy 3 Comments

I adore gallery walls! I love grouping my favorite things together to cheer up a blank wall. I finally got around to hanging the rest of the things in my family room and I am so happy with how it turned out. The wall above my couch is large and adding multiple frames and other items is the perfect way to cover the space.

A picture of my boys (including our sweet pup), a plant, a door knob from our 1938 house, my blog logo, the temple where we were married, and my favorite quote are what I decided to include this time around. I also added my favorite lamp ever from IKEA. That side of the couch is my spot and it is in the perfect place for when I read.

I have a tutorial on how I made the mounted planter. I didn't want this post to be forever long so I will share it tomorrow.

I was searching online of a picture of the Mount Timpanogos temple where Shane and I were married and I found a local photographer's blog with this image. This picture of a picture doesn't do it justice.

The frame I used for it has special meaning. When Shane and I were first married we were incredibly poor. My picture frame addition was just as strong back then as it is now and during one of our window shopping dates I spied this rustic frame. It reminded me of my dad and some of the frames he had that displayed his wildlife photography. It was quite a bit of money for a small frame and I knew we shouldn't splurge. Shane later went back and got it for me.

The little nook, which is Shane's favorite thing about the whole house, is the perfect place to put my weekly grocery store flowers. I got the "vase" which is really a kitchen utensil holder, from Urban outfitters for less than $20. It is my favorite vase.

It is lovely! You always talk about buying flowers in the winter and I think I need to start doing that too.
