    Simple Spring Home Tour

    By Stacy 9 Comments

If you are here from Nina's blog, I'm so glad you are here! If you haven't checked out her home yet, hop on over later. It is beautiful!

Springtime is busy for me. Spring concerts for the kids, starting to work outside for the first time, finishing up "winter" projects, and I tend to have business trips more in the spring. I love participating in home tours but I was feeling a bit stretched thin. When Krista asked me to join her tour the word "Simplicity" stood out to me and I felt like it was something I could handle.

Sometimes all you need are small touches to make a cheery difference. Welcome to my simple spring home tour!

Normally I add some kind of artwork to the frame to hide my TV. I decided to really embrace the "simplicity" idea and leave it as is. I took my long plant off a top shelf so I could dust and set it on the mantel. I ended up loving it there and it has stayed ever since.

Primroses have always been a favorite of mine. It's such a cheery little flower that seems to welcome in Spring.

You can never have enough flowers and when your grocery store has a sale on fresh cut flowers it is an even better excuse to fill all the nooks and crannies.

I like to change out a few picture frames each season with printables or art. It is a fast, easy (and cheap!) way to freshen up the space.

I'm a sucker for tulips! I would have them in my house year round if I could. They are one flower that I wish lasted longer.

Thanks for taking the time to see my home. The next stop is Heather's home! Enjoy :)
