Purple is not a very common color choice when decorating. It is most commonly found in little girl rooms and nurseries. But I love it and want to show that is can be a beautiful choice in any space. Whether it is a bold, saturated magenta, a soft lavender, or a muted, earthy shade, purple can be a sophisticated color choice. Here are some of my favorite examples of purple home decor.
This magenta couch is quite the statement! It fits nicely in this colorful space. While we all might not run out and buy a purple couch, I think we can all appreciate its beauty.

Behold, my favorite purple home decor image I found online. This earthy purple shade is divine. I love everything about this photo. Well, that's a lie. I kind of want to pick up the things on the rug and put them away in some cute cubbies and on some hooks.

You had me at the word purple, since it is my favorite color. I have lots of purple clothes and my flowiering plants seem to be purple too. But I had a giant flash of inspiration after seeing that beautiful couch. I have my parents antique settee. It has been three times in my life and currently in a a gold corduroy but in my minds eye I am thinking of a deep rich purple! Thanks!

Purple has always been a color that just takes my breath away. I've never been brave enough to incorporate it much into our home decor but maybe part of that is because we're renters.
