He Said She Said EPISODE #6

By Stacy 7 Comments

We filmed this back at the end of last summer, maybe early fall. It was when our basement bathroom was in the beginning stages. And I think I had 5 projects going at the same time. It seemed like a good time to address this topic and talk about our differences. I am sure most of you will be able to relate. Or at least that is what I tell myself so I don’t feel crazy……..

So how do you approach a project (or projects)?

How does your partner approach them?

Great points! We approach projects the same way although we try very hard to finish it quickly!

Can completely relate! Life seems to get in the way of my projects and then other things happen. But eventually they get done! You both made great sense! Thanks for sharing!!!

Stacy, I totally relate to your approach. I fizzle out on projects before I finish them, for many reasons. DH rarely does projects, so he always gets everything on his (teeny tiny) To Do list done. I must admit, if he sets his mind to something, he figures, why put off till tomorrow what I could finish up today. In the end, I get way more done than he does, because I start more projects, but he tends to finish things very promptly.

I pretty much always have a zillion projects going on at once, all at different phases. I can never focus on just one at a time! (Love your videos by the way!)

    Y’all are so cute!
I just discovered your videos and they are fun to watch and you two sound just like my hubby and me…
we also live in an old home and although we love love love our craftsman, we have so many things that we’d like to do to it to upgrade/repair/restore. We have to be careful to put the projects in order of priority, which makes for some boring but necessary projects.
Thanks for sharing your perspective with us– I agree!
Blessings to you both as you make your home!
