    Styled X3 {Small Glass Jars}

    By Stacy 14 Comments

    I am not sure how August slipped in here without me really noticing but here it is in all its 100 degree glory. It means back to school shopping, the start of harvesting the garden, restocking the Popsicles, and a new Styled X3!!!

    This month we have two more bloggers joining us and I am excited to introduce them to you. Heidi from Honey Bear Lane is the cutest and we recently bonded over a long plane ride. Amy from The Happy Scraps is a fellow mother of all boys who loves to get her craft on. Both of these ladies happen to be Utah bloggers like me :) You will love what they did with their item this month!

    This month I chose a 12 pack of these adorable little glass jars.

    I had a lot of ideas of what I could do with the jars. My first thought was screws, nails, nuts, bolts, etc. but I have way too many of those things. After brainstorming for a bit I came up with the perfect use..... guest toiletries!

    guest-toiletries

    When you hop out of the shower while staying and a friend's or family member's house you don't want to have to call out to them asking where their q-tips are. Make sure that everything your guest could possibly need is all together and easy to find.

    I added vinyl lettering to the jars using my vinyl cutting machine. If you have a Cricut or Silhouette it is pretty easy to do this. Or you could use a paint marker to hand write it on the jars.

    Add the jars to a little basket and keep it under the sink or in the linen closet until you need them. Then place them on a bathroom shelf or on the counter.

    What are some of the things you do to get ready for guests?

    Make sure to check out how Heidi and Amy used these jars in their homes!

    What would you have done with them?

      I love the idea of offering shampoo and things for guests just like a hotel! I have never thought to do that before. Great idea! Off to check out the other ideas :)

      I LOVE this Stacy! Such a fun way to use these cute jars. Did you apply vinyl to them?

      This is a great idea to keep everything in one place and looks so much better than the ugly bottles/packages that these originally come in!

      Wow! What a great idea! We recently had a ton of family staying with us this summer visiting our new baby and honestly, the toiletry mess was overwhelming. I'm looking forward to trying this before our next wave of visitors.

      I do put these things out for overnight guests, but just in the travel size containers they came in. This is so much prettier, and more practical too. I saw you featured on Share It One More Time.

      What a wonderful way to supply all the needs when someone is coming to visit! A great way too for family to find things without asking. It's so pretty and neat looking. Well done!

      I would have made little scented candles, and put one in the bedroom and the spare bathroom. Just taking the lid off of a highly scented candle, brings out the yummy smell. I would attach a note to take them home with them when they leave. Every time they lit their little candle, I'm sure they would be reminded of me.
