    Meet The Blogger {Sincerely Sara D}

    By Stacy 2 Comments

I have really loved doing this series over the past year. I have one more blogger to share with you. She is as talented as she is sweet. I knew when I met her a few years ago that she was super genuine and someone I wanted to be around. Her home is just as welcoming as she is and just as beautiful.

    Meet Sara!

Hi there! My name is Sara, and I blog about my DIY home decor adventures at Sincerely, Sara D.

I am honored to be here with you all and am a big fan of Stacy's. We met several years ago at a blog conference, and Stacy was my mentor. She was (and still is) so kind, encouraging and helpful!

The past few years have been crazy busy as we remodeled several spaces in our home. The largest remodel was our kitchen. My husband and I (with the help of some friends), tore out our old kitchen. Over a nine week span, we rebuilt our kitchen. You can see the entire process here, beginning with week one.

We used RTA (ready-to-assemble) cabinets, and I talk about that process here. We installed the farmhouse sink and I share a tutorial on that process on my blog.

We knocked out half of a wall to open up our kitchen, and I made a gallery wall on the other side.

Our family room has seen lots of changes, and you can see what it once looked like here. It looked nothing like it does now!

After all our remodeling, I decided to take on a space almost entirely on my own. I remodeled my daughter's bathroom and you can read more about that adventure HERE.

I made over our mudroom with paint and wallpaper, and the coat rack is an easy IKEA hack.

The shoe rack is an antique find, but there are free plans to make your own.

My husband and I have been married almost 17 years, and we've always had a room full of leftover pieces. However, we our master had a makeover, and the space finally received the attention it deserves - See the full makeover here.

Stacy, thanks so much for having me today. I hope I can inspire your readers!

    Go create (or paint) something!

Hi Stacey I enjoy these series and no one does them anymore. I enjoyed meeting Sara and reading and seeing the projects. Boy have you and your sweetie been busy. Your kitchen is perfect and no one would know those were off the shelf cabinets.

The piece you used in the mudroom for shoes is also beautiful.

      I enjoyed meeting you Sara.

      Enjoy

      Cindy
