    Lets chat about Polka Dots

    By Stacy 12 Comments

I bet the one of the first things you think of when you hear "polka dots" is a nursery or little kids room. That seems the obvious design choice. But polka dots are a super versatile pattern that can be very chic. After I did my hallway in a tone on tone polka dot pattern, I got on pinterest to find some more examples of polka dots used in a more "grown up" way.

I love mixing patterns. This room is a good example of mixing patterns with out it being too crazy or busy.

I would have never thought to have a polka dot headboard but it totally works!

I know, I know....this picture has a Christmas tree in it and it is February. But lets focus on the table cloth. LOVE it!!!

And then you have the classic black and white dots. I liked the mix of big and small in this picture.

I love the use of polka dots as framed art in this dining room. Great idea!

Have you seen your hallway? I mean...you have. But seriously!!! I LOVE IT! I adore patterns. And polka dots are at the top of my list. I love the color on color. It's amazing! You are a genius, Miss. But you already knew that.

I honestly like your hallway the best out of all of these! The tone-on-tone is simply sublime! Although that green tablecloth makes me happy too...
