Fall Mantel {Styled X3}

By Stacy 8 Comments

I love this series so much! I look forward to it every month. And you are in for a treat because this month I have Kelli from Lolly Jane and Kelly from Live Laugh Rowe! They are amazing.

In case you are new, the idea behind Styled X3 is that I buy three of the same item, I keep one and I send two of them to two different talented bloggers. All three of us style the item somewhere in our homes. Altering it is optional.

This month I chose this planter from IKEA. I loved the shape and the little wooden feet! Normally I have it on my new bookshelves but for the style challenge I….

…added it to my Fall mantel!

I spray painted the feet gold and while I wanted to add a gold stripe, I didn’t want it to be permanent. I decided to add gold tape instead of painting a stripe on the planter.

I used what I already had on hand and gathered the rest from the yard. You really can’t go wrong with fall leaves and pumpkins, right?

Have you decorated for Fall yet? What is you favorite way to add a touch of autumn to your space?

Make sure to hop over and see what Kelli and Kelly did with their planter! You don’t want to miss it!

    This is neat! Love the wood base addition on to your fireplace – I’m wanting to do something like this to ours. Display is fantastic!

    Great idea to use tape so you can switch it up later. Love the whole fireplace, especially that acorn wreath!
