    Fall Home Tour

    By Stacy 18 Comments

I am so excited to be participating in this year's Fall Home Tour! Yesterday the tour ended with My Fabulous Life. If you are coming from there, WELCOME! I am glad you came :)

Am I the only one who is still reeling over the fact that it Fall already? How did this happen? I swear summer was over in a blink. It is a good thing I LOVE Fall decor :) I hurried to get my house all decked out for Fall before I left for NYC this week. I hope you enjoy this little tour.

I haven't revealed my family room makeover so I was hesitant to share the room decorated for Fall. So I only gave you a tiny peek of the gallery wall.

    fall home decorating

I have fallen madly in love with this lamp from IKEA. I want one in every room now :)

The orange and turquoise plaid fabric served as my inspiration for this years decor.

I changed my gallery wall a tiny bit by adding a fall leaf to one of the frames. Such a simple thing to do!

I normally plant a ton of sunflowers but this year I didn't. Luckily there were hundreds growing along the road near my mom's house.

I still love this Pottery Barn knock off star I made last year. I use it in the fall all the way through Christmas.

My kids had fun collecting some leaves from up the canyon. We had extra so I scattered them on the table. Not sure how long they will stay, but the kids loved it.

And how cute is this baby pumpkin? My 4 year old has named it and packs it around the house :)

Thanks to a neighbor, we have plenty of acorns this year. I added them to a turquoise bowl to carry the color scheme over to the dining room.

I didn't do as much decorating as usual, but the fact that I am writing a book and had two blog related trips this month, I figured I was doing good doing any at all.

Now you need to hop on over and see Diane's house at In My Own Style.

Tomorrow Better Homes And Gardens will be taking over for the tour. Don't forget to sign up for their 100 days of Holidays newsletter. It is one of my favorite things!

Stacy, your beautiful wildflowers are "black-eyed-susans", a native late summer bloomer. Love them.

That is such a great mix of colors. Looking into that IKEA lamp right now for my son's room. Will go great with his decor.

I love the sunflowers with the pumpkin. Not a combo that I would have thought of, but the colors really pop.
