I am excited to have been invited to be apart of the Fall Porch Blog Hop organized by my cute friend Taryn from Designing, Dining, and Diapers. It gave me the push to get my porch decorated a little sooner which means I will get to enjoy it longer. Debbie's porch was the first on the hop today so if you came from there, welcome! If not, be sure to stop by there later :)
I hope you like blog hops as much as I do because this one is going to be a fun one!
Like the rest of my house, my porch is tiny but what it lacks in square footage, I think it makes up for in charm. I love that it sticks out a bit and has an arch. And, as you may already know, the front door is my favorite thing about our whole house.
The size does make it a little difficult to decorate though. I always seem to have more ideas than space.
I used a pot and a crate I already had and bought a few things at the local garden shop to add a bit of autumn.
Baskets and crates scream Fall to me. They also gave some needed height and texture.
I made the garland using some things I found at the craft store. I think the yellow puff balls are especially fun!
While I do dream of having a large porch with seating and room for all sorts of decorations, I can't help but love this little porch with pumpkins in the nooks.
Here is the list of all those participating. Next up is Yvonne from Stone Gable. I can't wait to see what everyone else has done with their porches!

Very pretty Stacy and so inviting. - I'm currently working on my front porch space but with dogs and free range chickens I'm limited to what I can put out. We have a Fall Jar Challenge on the blog right now. If you get a chance step over to see what we did. Was fun!
I'm headed over right now!
It looks great! Love the garland!
Super, super cute! Just perfect!!!!
I can see what the doorway is your favorite thing about your house. The arch is so pretty! You've done a beautiful job decorating it for fall.
Love it! I like the cozy feel of things peeking out and inviting you up for a closer inspection. Have always loved the arch and the curved and monogrammed door.
I just love the traditional fall colors you used! And I LOVE how you incorporated cabbage. Thanks for joining me :)

I love that garland around your door!! Your house lends itself so beautifully to fall colours -the winter kale is my fave!
I love your front porch. The crates add a perfect touch! The pumpkins, kale and flowers are just perfect! I just picked up all those elements myself but haven't made a display yet. Love your front door and the pretty garland draped over it. Visiting from Thoughts of Home.
