Upstairs Bathroom Renovation: One Step Closer

    By Stacy 6 Comments

After I completed the vanity, I had a few things that were not as photo worthy that needed to be done before I could do the fun things like add the new light, mirror, and faucet. After one more week of work, we now have a working toilet and sink! I obviously still need a curtain or valance plus artwork and a few more accessories, but we are well on our way to having a finished space.

One of the things I was looking forward to the most was finally installing the GORGEOUS channel bathroom faucet I ordered from Delta. I was able to visit their headquarters last November and was so impressed with their selection and their dedication to quality.  While I was there I fell madly in love with one particular bathroom faucet and now that it is installed, I think it was the perfect choice!

I feel lucky that our bathroom has so much natural light. Even though our basement bathroom also has a window, it is so tiny that is still feels very dark.  All that sunlight is just begging for a few more plants! I think I can accommodate.

Behold, my newest crush, the Cassidy Channel Faucet! Isn't she stunning? I love the shiny chrome finish.

I knew when I ordered it that my youngest kids would see this as a fun new toy. I am 100% okay with that. I see many little boats floating in my sink in the future. It IS pretty cool how it looks like a waterfall!

This week I am planning on hanging the darling towel hooks I bought, finding some artwork for the wall, building the shelves that will go above the toilet, working on a little surprise project, and shopping for some more little accessories.

I noticed after the fact that the drawer didn't get pushed back in all the way and the OCD in me is trying desperately to be okay with that :)

Do you have any projects planned for this week? I would love to hear about them!

This post was sponsored by Delta. They provided me with the faucet for review for this post. All thoughts and opinions are all mine.

      Dear Stacy,
I love the color of the blue stool. Did you paint it, and, if so, what color is it? Thank you!

I did paint it :) I used Krylon spray paint and the color was Satin Oxford Blue.

I love the faucet and can imagine the younger boys loving it. Everything is beautiful and so well thought out.

it is so encouraging to see the clever things you put into action. it should encourage others to realize they do not have to wait for ones husband to be available to put ones cleverness into action. that is such a holdup for so many but following along with you and your writings one can realize there are some small projects to start with while building ones skills.
      thank you

it is also a great relief to trying to nag ones already overworked hsb to do those things we have in our minds.

Simply elegant! I am so excited to see the bath room progress as it has come a LONG way from the demolition you started with! Just beautiful!

I love how it turned out, and I fell in love with those same faucets. How can you not love a faucet that makes waterfalls?
