    A Little Update...

    By Stacy 10 Comments

Oh man you guys! There are times when things are busy and I go crazy and there are times when things are busy and I love it. I think the warm weather and the sunshine have helped my attitude. We have been having record high temperatures (as in high 70s...in MARCH....in UTAH!) and it has been so nice!

I have been working in my garden! Normally when I plant peas and other cold weather veggies it is a muddy mess and really cold. I don't really enjoy it. It is just something that has to be done. This time was glorious. I also transplanted my strawberries to a new spot in my garden. They haven't produced as well the last couple of years due to my lack of rotating them. We are also going to be moving our raspberries to some new above ground planters. More about that later!!!

I never cleared out my flowerbeds in the fall so I worked on that as well. How cute is this little guy?

You know our bathroom that has been partially torn apart for a few years now? It is about to be all the way torn apart. Demo starts this week and Shane is taking a day off to help me tile the floor. Yikes! It has been so long and I have gotten use to looking at it in its sad state that it will be weird to finally have it look pretty!

This pretty paper will make an appearance in the space :)

We have a couple of new pets! We went into the farm supply store for chicken feed and came home with bunnies. Our neighbors have raised them for years and years and my kids have begged to have them for just as long. Shane and I finally caved. Okay, maybe it was only Shane that needed to cave....

    Meet Clover and Higgins :)

Aside from gardening I have not been doing a ton of DIYing this past week. I did give this old industrial stool and makeover though! I bought it at a local antique store and it will be so nice to have for when we spend a lot of time at the sink doing dishes or canning.  When not in use, it fits perfectly in this corner.

The warmer weather means more projects!!! I'll be sharing more about our plans for our yard and the progress on the bathroom soon. Does the spring season get you motivated for all sorts of projects too?

The chair came out really nice! I have one that needs to be painted, and stuck in the kitchen corner too.

really looking forward to the bathroom reveal. the wallpaper looks like it would be terrific in just about any setting. Are the bunnies going to be house bunnies? I hope you are prepared for their having to chew on lots of your beautiful projects if they are going to be house bunnies. not trying to be negative on your happy blog today.

Thank you! I'm excited to see the bathroom finally come together too! The bunnies will live outside with our chickens and ducks. I don't think our dog would be happy sharing the house with them :)

LOL that's one of the prettiest snails I've every seen. Can't wait to see the completed bathroom. My grandpa raised rabbits there too so that's great.
