    "Our" song..... in vinyl

    By Stacy 22 Comments

My husband and I are coming up on 11 years of wedded bliss. We have had "our song" on our wall in vinyl for a few years now and I love the constant reminder. It makes me think of when we were dating. The only thing that bothered me was the scale of it. It seemed too big for the space. I ordered it since I didn't have a Silhouette back then and I didn't realize how big it was going to be be. I just cut out some new vinyl in a different font. I like that it is smaller :)

    NEW:

    OLD:

This picture doesn't do it justice. It was REALLY big. It was the first thing I noticed when I walked in the room. I didn't want it to be the focal point of the space. Just a side note...

And here it is from a distance.

What a great idea! I have a blank wall in my bedroom and using 'our song' ("God Bless the Broken Road") on it would be perfect! Thanks for the amazing idea!!

What a great idea! I'm not sure which line I'd use from our song (Slide by the Goo Goo dolls)as it's a bit unusual. But I just love the way it looks and the sentiment!
