    Crates, Crates, and More Crates!

    By Stacy 10 Comments

Remember when I gave you a little update on what I have been up to and I showed this picture of 35 wooden crates? Well I'm finally going to share with you what I did with most of them. I held a few back for another fun thing that I will share later this week.

    35 crates

Crates and Pallet sent me the custom sized crates. You can buy them from Home Depot's site. and they come in a variety of sizes. With so many crates, I needed to use some child labor to get the job done :)

Once they were sanded and stained, they were ready to pack!

I had over 30 bloggers who were going to be receiving copies of my book to help promote. I wanted to send them something else aside from just the book so I put together little packages for them.

I fell in love with Lucy's seed packets she shared on her blog. I printed out some of them and added them to the package along with a terracotta pot.

And here is what it looked like all packed and ready to go!

I am so incredibly grateful for all of you and my fellow bloggers. Sending this book out into the world has been scary! But knowing I have support makes it a little easier.

Keep your eye out for a post later this week all about how I used the other 4 crates!

What a cute idea. Love the finished crate and wondering what stain you used on them. I have a few I am using to store books!

Dark Walnut from Minwax. It is my favorite stain color :) Aren't crates awesome? They can be used for so many things!
