    The Top 10 Projects {Public Voting is Open!}

    By Stacy 5 Comments

Ahhh! It is always so hard and so nerve wrecking to pick the top 10. This year we actually have a top 11. We had a tie, then I thought we broke the tie, then we had another tie. Needless to say, narrowing it down was HARD. I want you to know that even if you didn't make the top 11, the guest judges and I were blown away by all of your entries. The level of creativity was mind blowing. I loved looking through them all. You are all DIY rock stars in my book.

Before we move on to the top projects, let's quickly discuss how this works. At the bottom of the post there is a place where you can vote for your favorite. You can do this ONCE A DAY until Saturday night (January 20th). The project with the most votes will win the prize pack provided by Home Depot and Ryobi Power Tools. I will announce the winner on Monday, January 22nd.

    Alright, drum roll please........

    (in no particular order)

    #1. Hidden Storage Under Stairs

Diane, from In My Own Style, made good use of the wasted space under her stairs by adding a storage room. It is disguised by decorative molding. Head over to her blog to see the full tutorial!

    #2. DIY Gabion Walls

Karen wanted to install some gabion walls to help with her sloping yard. When she couldn't find a landscaper willing to tackle the project, she figured it out herself! Her story is quite amazing.

    #3. Faux Drawer Dresser

Shara, from Woodshop Diaries, created this dresser that functions surprisingly different than you might first suspect! How fun is that?!

    #4 Bathroom Makeover

I love a good before and after! I didn't even recognize this bathroom after Christina, from Christina's Adventures, was done with it! SO much better :)

    #5. Billy Bookcase Customized

Mysha, from Remington Avenue, turned IKEA pieces into a custom built in bookcase!

    #6. Double Bunk Beds

Lesley is a stay-at-home mom who also build custom furniture. This is a double over a double bunk bed with stairs that have extra storage! You can see more pictures and info here.

    #7. Bedroom Makeover

Laura, from Inspiration for Moms, created a relaxing retreat. It is such a difference from the before!

    #8. Screen Porch

Laura, from Duke Manor Farm, built and decorated this lovely space. I love all the color!

    #9. Kitchen Remodel

Jennifer, from The Craft Patch, took on a major kitchen remodel. I love the soft color palette and fun little touches.

    #10. Built In Dresser

Bobbi built this dresser to fit a little nook in their bedroom. I am so impressed with the workmanship! Who wouldn't love all that custom storage!

    #11. Organized Pantry

Ashley, from Domestic Imperfection, built this pantry complete with crates on drawer slides! I love all the little details.

The guest judges and I get to sit back and relax. The hard part is now up to YOU! Vote (once a day) for your favorite project.
