    Thanks!

    By Stacy 3 Comments

Thanks for all your comments :) I am not really worried about the actual painting. I have done it before. I actually don't think there isn't anything I HAVEN'T painted. I was worried about if it was going to hold up well long term. I have more painting clothes than regular clothes! Really. I answered the door the other day in painting clothes and a paint brush in hand. My cute neighbor was bringing me a Christmas treat. She said in all seriousness that she didn't think she had ever seen me in "real" clothes. Sad! Or funny. Or pathetic. I am always knee deep in a project for someone! Soooooooo. I AM GOING TO GO FOR IT!!!!! I just decided.
I have considered the whole glazing thing in the past. I have done that too LOTS of times. My only thing is resale. If we ever sell, some people don't like it. Plus, I am a tiny bit obsessed with antiquing everything so all my furniture is pretty much that way. Would I want my cabinets that way too??? On the fence I guess. I think I will paint them, see how the whole "clean" thing goes and if they are a pain to keep clean, I can glaze them then. DONE. Mind made up :) Now I just have to do it!!! Thanks again for all the input. I have checked out all the posts and got some good tips to try. You guys rock!!! It probably won't happen for a while since I have some projects I am doing for other people. Plus I should wait until we can do the floors (tax return) and do it all together.  Yeah! I am excited

This is totally random, but what is the font you use for your signature at the end of your posts?

If you click on it, it will take you to the site. I don't remember the name. I just picked one I liked. They don't have a ton of choices so maybe you could find it :)

Stacy funny that you want to paint your cabinets. I have been weighing the same decision. But I am thinking of going crazy and painting mine green!!!
