GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED
The winner is Lisa W. !!!
So I was originally going to share a project I am working on for my laundry room for my HomeRight post this month but when I saw what other bloggers were saying about their new Steam Mop Plus machines I was just too ansty to try it out. And I am so in love with it that I decided to do this post first.
I have tried a lot of steam machines and steam mops over the years and there are two main reasons why this one blew my mind. The first one is that it is a steam mop AND a hand held, all in one.
Are you in love yet? Because seriously that would be enough for me.
And before I get to the second big reason this is the best steam machine, let's check out the attachments for the hand held steamer.
*Squeegee for windows, mirrors, showers, counter tops, and other flat surfaces
*Grout Brush for tile grout, along baseboards, or window sills
*Scraper for scraping baked on food, grease, or stick residue from stove tops, ovens, and floors
*Angled Nozzle for tight places and hard to reach spots
*Nylon brushes microwave, oven, stove, refrigerator, faucets, tile, and tons more!
*Bonnet for steaming garments and fabric
The first thing I did with my machine was steam my curtains. I recently washed all my curtains as part of my spring cleaning routine. They were wrinkly. I hung them up anyway as part of my "I don't iron anything" routine. I pretended it didn't bother me because if it bothered me that would mean I would then have to take them down and actually iron them. The steam machine worked like a charm! And it was fast.
I didn't stop there. I figured it could also steam and sanitize my throw pillows. I use to wash my throw pillows weekly but it caused my pillows to die a quick and faded death. I have tried to wash them less often to keep them looking good but I also live with 5 boys so I worry they are harboring an army of germs. All my pillows are cotton. If you have pillows made of delicate fabrics you may want to read on the website to see if you can steam them.
Alright, the second big reason I love this machine is the carpet glider. "The what?" you say? Let me introduce you to the carpet glider....
You guys! You can steam your carpet! You attach a regular microfiber pad and then clip on the carpet glider attachment over that. I only get our carpets cleaned once or twice a year. What an AWESOME way to sanitize them in between cleanings!
The only thing that could make this steam machine better is if there were more than two pads. I am going to see if I can order more because I stink at getting laundry done and because I live with 5 boys who track dirt in like nobody's business. I would need a pad for every room in the house and then a second set to use while the other set sat in the laundry being ignored. But that is me. I have laundry issues.
So in my humble, OCD, mother of 4 boys, germaphobic, opinion HomeRight pretty much nailed it.
And guess what folks? YOU get a chance to win one of these bad boys for yourself.
*Giveaway open to US residents that are 18 years or older. The giveaway runs from February 27th until until March 5th. The winner will be notified via email and this post will also be updated with the winner's name. The winner has 48 hours to respond before a new winner will be chosen.
And if you can't wait and you need it now (I don't blame you) Amazon has it on for $112 right now :)

Need it most for grout...always trying to make it cleaner!
I would love to win this! It would come in really handy!
My whole house is hardwood, with tile in the bathrooms and kitchen. I'd start right by the front door and work my way to the back - it all needs to be done!
I need this! I would love to get our living room area (beige carpet + 2 kids = nightmare!).
I use to have a Shark steam cleaner but it broke and I didn't feel like investing in another steamer to just have it break again but this one seems so nice. I do miss how clean my kitchen floors would get without harsh chemicals.
my whole house pick me pick me ;)
Definitely my bathroom floors. Having 5 boys in the house they don't stay clean very long! Thanks for the opportunity! What a fun toy.
Oh what an awesome giveaway!!! I'd start with my kitchen floor!
I can't decide between my kitchen or bathroom floors... They both need a good cleaning right now! :) I'd love to win!
We have an old steam cleaner and I HATE IT. I would LOOOOOVE to upgrade to this. Then maybe I would do the floors instead of making the hubby do it :-)
Oh the floors!!!! Then the baths - I LOVE THIS THING!!!!!!!! Definitely NEED it!
My bathroom, then the closets! Closets need love too!
I would clean my laminate floor first!
I would clean my tile grout - it needs some love!
I would use the handheld unit to try to clean some stubborn problem areas in our shower. This machine looks awesome. Love the new blog design, too, by the way!
those wrinkly curtains!! (that are likely covered in all sorts of germs considering the toddler likes to hide behind them, pull on them, wipe his nose on them....yuck!)
Oooooh, spring cleaning! I would tackle the wood floors in our 1927 house. After they are sparkling clean, I will enforce the no shoes rule.

My tile bathroom floors!
My kitchen floor!
Oh I would love this so much! I have two toddlers so things need to be cleaned often and fast! I would work on the dining room first.
I'd start with the kitchen floor--unfortunately a textured tile that does a great job of harboring dirt in all it's little nooks and crannies. But you've given me great ideas for other jobs I hadn't thought of. Spring Cleaning?? We're still dealing with snow. Is it Spring Cleaning time already? Yikes! Have to get cracking. (knees crack)
I would clean my laundry room floor. Our washer just leaked (twice) and so we've got messy floors galore.
You never realize how filthy your house is till you have an 8 mo old crawling! I'd do my FLOORS! lol!

I need this! Thanks for the great review!
I've used other steam mops but this is so versatile! I need this in my life.
our kitchen floor, no matter how many times I sweep or mop, it always gets dirty again.
I'd probably clean the bathroom floors, then the kitchen floors, then the entry hall, and then I'd take an extension cord out to my car and steam clean the upholstery! I'd seriously go to town with that baby! haha
You had me at carpet cleaner!
What would I clean first? Try everything in my house that can be cleaned!
The kitchen floor would definitely be first on my list.
I need one for my grout. I love my pale gray tile and grout but it gets SO dirty quick!
My floors! I have an 18 month old and she leaves smudgy marks all over the place and food everywhere. Also, I feel like my floors are never clean even though I clean them at least once a day. My regular cleaning routine doesn't do a good job. I mop and it just leaves streaks everywhere no matter what I do and it's very visible on my floors, especially when I have the curtains open.
Oh where to begin! I guess the kitchen and bathroom floors would have to be first!
Bathroom grout! For sure.
Floors! Love the no chemicals.
Wow, my floors are soooo hard to clean. I bet this would work great!

My bathroom, especially the grout. I can't seem to get it clean without spending hours scrubbing away.
I would clean our floors. We live in the country and have two dogs and a cat. We have a dirt driveway so we get SO MUCH DIRT AND MUD on our floors! We can't keep up with the dirt and it drives us crazy.

Have a regular steam mop now that I really like, but I'm in LOVE with this one.
My kitchen counter grout!! Oooo, do I ever need this!

The floor in our living room - my dog pees when he gets excited!
I would clean the grout underneath the chairs where my 2 and 4 year old boys eat. Gross.
I would clean the stairs, probably. There's no easy way to get them clean and a vacuum is nearly impossible. I would want to see how this works!
I would clean my living room floor first.
My carpet and tile floors!
The grout on my kitchen floors, window seals, shower doors!!! Can you clean the dog with it too???? I wish!

I'd like to start a blog so I can easily share my experience and thoughts online.
Please let me know if you have any kind of suggestions or tips for new aspiring blog owners.
Appreciate it!
