I am still here in the Seattle area helping my hubby’s brother move into and decorate their new house. I didn’t take into account the fact that my brother-in-law and his family moving would mean a lack of internt connection for my laptop. Sorry things have been quiet around here.
I will be honest, this trip has not been all giggles and smiles. The ride up here was great but we have kind of struggled since. I hurt my shoulder somehow and it is killing me. While helping move furniture my hubby ( who was driving a truck full of things in the back) couldn’t see and hit into someone’s van. He was creeping on account of not being able to see but it still did a little damage. Then there are my kids….. There have been a record number of melt downs. I looked at my five year old today and literally thought “who are you?”
This is sounding dreary and that was not the point. I just want tou to know that when I get around to posting pictures of this little vacation of ours and everyone is smiling, that it had it’s “real life” moments too.
On a more positive note, we have made several trips to town to antique stores, thrift stores, fabric stores, and home improvement stores. I will be building a bench, stenciling, and spray painting my heart out. There will not be whole room reveals but lots of projects that pull the rooms together with what they already had.
Here’s to hoping the next post is soon and has pictures!!!
Thanks for everything you guys :)
