    Painting My Pantry

    By Stacy 109 Comments

As you may know, I recently painted my entire upstairs white. After years of swearing I would never have white walls, I decided it would give me more freedom to change out pillows and accessories if the walls were white. Plus it really brightened up our house! The one thing that hadn't been painted, was our hallway pantry. It was still an almond color and next to the bright white, it looked very tan.

    The BEFORE:

    pantry-in-hall

After taking the door off and taking out the drawers (and all the hardware), I sanded everything, inside and out. I vacuumed up the dust and wiped it down with a wet rag.

    sanding in preparation to paint

Then I primed it and painted it the same white as the rest of the house. If you have ever tried to hand paint closets or cabinets on the inside, you know it is a giant pain. Add in beadboard and you may as well poke yourself in the eye. The Finish Max saved the day and made it go by SO FAST.

    priming pantry

And here she is all white and new! It is no longer and eye sore with it's mismatched paint. I can't wait to show you the inside later this week!!!

    The AFTER:

    hallway-pantry

If you have any painting projects coming up, then you need the Finish Max. I am giving away one to a lucky reader! Enter below for a chance to win :)

I want to paint my craft room! All the walls in our house are the same boring beige that the builders chose to paint the house. I want my craft room to be more "me"

The first (of many) projects I want to tackle this Spring is paining my exterior doors - both the outside and inside. I am planning on a more traditional cranberry red for the outside, and something with more of a pop for the inside - maybe turquoise!

My entire interior we purchased our home a few years ago and are still in the process of getting everything to our liking, after several projects, (remodeling the kitchen) we will have to paint it all again! I am excited about it, it's a lot of fun picking colors and seeing the results after.

My first painting project is to try & paint a room that was our son's bedroom & make it more of an office/craft space. (More crafts than office) I used to work from home, as did the hubs, but now he's always in an office & I'm disabled, so it'd be great to have an easier way to paint things in that room. My teenage son isn't completely moved out yet, but we're close (I hope!). Thanks!

I have some random outdoor furniture I'd love to paint in shades of orange and blue.

That turned out so nice and pretty! My first project would definitely be my Nana's bedroom!

I have a long list of painting projects in my own home, but my parents are in desperate need of a kitchen cabinet makeover. We're off to pick out paint chips this afternoon. I've been a bit overwhelmed and excited at the same time. I can't wait to see their reaction to the finished project. This paint sprayer would be so helpful to complete it quickly and provide professional results!
