My hallway has been a trouble spot (decor wise) for me the whole time we have lived here. We painted it cream when we moved in just until we figured out what to do with it. Yeah, 4 years later we are just now getting to it. I painted it an off white yesterday. I know, HUGE change from cream. But it really lightened it up. The picture below is suppose to be off white but now that I see it against white it looks too dark.
Any way..... I have big plans for my little hallway. And I have no idea if it is going to look good. Scratch that. I am pretty sure it will look good, but I don't know if it will look good next to the kitchen and the family room. It is the first time I haven't been 100% confident in a design. It is the first time I think I may get done and have to rethink some things. It is the first time I feel like I am taking a risk. But in a way, it is kind of exciting. Some people would look at my painted ceilings, or my scrap wood lamp, or anything else and think that those were risks. But they weren't for me because I could see it in my head. But for some reason, my little hallway that is the hub to all the rooms upstairs, has been such a road block for me. I am hoping to have it done by this weekend so I can post it Monday. Wish me luck!!!
