    Helping Save Wildlife

    By Stacy 6 Comments

Happy summer you guys! I hope you are enjoying days filled with BBQs, pool parties, camping, or whatever summery things you love. I have a post on a topic that is near and dear to my heart that I want to share with you today. If you know me at all you know I am a nature lovin', animal huggin', person. Heck, I wrote a book about nature and decorating where I professed my undying love for all living things. One of my goals as a mom is to instill that same love and respect of nature into my boys. We spend a lot of time outdoors, whether it be in the mountains, the beach, or our own backyard. We grow a large garden and we have lots of animals. I believe this earth is sacred and we have a responsibility to treat it with care. When Dawn reached out and wanted to partner with me to celebrate their 40th anniversary of helping save wildlife, I knew I had to. I have used Dawn dish soap my whole life and may or may not have shed a tear or two watching their commercials showing the ducks and other birds getting grime from oil spills washed off.

Delilah was a good sport! My son was my photographer and darn if this wasn't the only non-blurry pic :)

Since before I was born, Dawn has helped more than 75,000 birds and marine animals have a second chance and be released back into the wild. This July marks 40 years!
Dawn has been supporting the wildlife rescue rehabilitation centers, International Bird Rescue and The Marine Mammal Center. Dawn is the only dishwashing brand trusted by wildlife experts for decades.

I remember when the Exxon Valdez spilled in Alaska when I was younger . . . they used Dawn to clean up a lot of the birds! I love it for this use . . . and so many others.
