    Good News!

    By Stacy 52 Comments

I am just popping in real quick to share some good news! First of all our one and only vehicle that broke down for almost 2 weeks is now fixed :) But the BIG news is that my husband got a job!!!!!! If you follow me on Facebook this is not new to you but for those of you who don't follow me there, or didn't see mt status update in all caps with a bajillion exclamation points, there you go :)

It is the job we wanted the most that we have been waiting WEEKS to hear from. It is ten minutes from home and we know someone that works there and they say it is a great place to work. My husband got the call when we were working outside and when he hung up we did a happy danced and shouted for joy...... so much that a neighbor came to see what was the matter :P

It will take a long time to get caught up with everything but I finally see the light through the grey clouds that have been hovering over us.

I am so happy for you. It is so stressful losing a job. This economy is brutal right now. I am so glad your husband found a job. What a tremendous weight has been lifted for you! Congrats!

So so so so excited for you! I know what the whole horrible process is like...my dad lost his job when I was in high school (it was torture watching he and my mom worry and scrape up every penny for 3 years so they could to feed us kids) and I went through it myself right after my college graduation a few years ago....the waiting, the searching, the interviewing, the dashed hopes again and again. It makes that one phone call all the sweeter! Congrats to you and your family and prayers for you all as you start down another path on this crazy journey called life. :)

WoooHooo!!!! I really understand how amazing this feels because my husband was out of work for a little over a year. When he finally went back to work, it felt like a miracle had happened. Go right ahead and keep on doing that happy dance and anything else you feel like doing to celebrate! You deserve it!

That's the best news ever! So thrilled for you guys... I really enjoyed your former post about your journey of jobs. I like when people are real! Its so inspiring to see someone that's been featured in BHG etc. come down to our levels and let us see the human side of you. And to not be embarassed to share your faith in a world thats not always receptive. Very feeling post, glad we can catch a glimpse of your lives. God bless, Eden Claire

That is such great news! I am doing a chair happy dance for you! I know what this feeling is like all too well. We went through three years of unemployment and when my husband finaly got on permanent with his job and we were out of jeaporday of losing it, we did the happy dance too. We are still getting caught up on things from that time period seven months later, but I know how you feel.

I'm so happy for you! The Lord answers prayers! :-)

We're still looking for a full time job, but I know the Lord will bless us, and in his own time help us find the job we need. Congratulations on your ray of sunshine!

I am so happy for you and your family. Our family struggled with this as well in the past few years, quite a stressful season. But boy did I learn a lot, and became even more thrifty than before. I love your blog, and I am so very happy for you all!
