    "Favorite Things" GIVEAWAY

    By Stacy 37 Comments

So to kick off the "grand opening" or launching of this site I am having a little (emphasis on little) give away. I bought a few of my favorite things. There are some treats to add to your stash ( come on, you know you have one) and to get you through your day. I stuck in one of my favorite books. My all time favorite children's book is Jillian Jiggs by Phoebe Gilman but it is out of print and harder to find. I put in some shrinky dink plastic. It is a fun activity to do with kids. I use it at birthday parties to make charm bracelets or key chains. The kids love to watch it shrink! I added some foam brushes because I do a lot of painting and staining and they are a must. Because I am a germaphobe I am giving you some Clorox wipes. I know. It is a little weird for a give away. But it is a staple at our house and one of the best inventions ever! I put it all in a red ( because its my favorite color) basket.

To enter: Have a look around my blog and leave a comment telling me what your favorite thing was. To enter a second time, refer a friend. When they leave a comment have them give your name and I will enter you again. Or you can become a follower for another chance to win.

This giveaway will end September 9th at midnight.

Stacy, you make me look like a slacker! I think my favorite thing, (which of course is almost impossible to choose), might have to be the title of this blog! It's true, housewives do so much good for the family and community to be at home with our children. As long as we are striving to be the best housewife we can be, there is nothing more important in life than being "just" that! Love your blogs, thanks for sharing! ~Jen

I love your blog! I love what you did with your boys room. Also not going to lie I want those cupcakes! Makes me want to go bake. I found your blog through Jennifer Jensen and although I thought she was joking when she said someone could make her look like a slacker, I have to agree with her ;) I am definitely going to be following this and your other blogs.

Super cute- Joanna has been telling me over and over about you and how cute you are! I love this blog as well! I love this cute basket- was thinking that you wanted us to say what we love in the giveaway basket- I'd have to say the kit-kats, but the shrinkwrap stuff looks great. But my favorite thing on your blog is everything, but one I really love is your banner and all the different Jobs mommies have (or at least super moms like you) have. Wow. Way to go!

I love, love the two boy rooms. They are so creative and took a ton of work i'm sure! I am in the midst of re-doing an office into a Paleontology room for my little one so i can totally relate. Really cute stuff!

Are you sure you are new to blogging? I really love how diverse you are at everything. I am so glad I am a follower.

I cant choose my favourite blog - maybe the Bug's life bunk beds, or maybe the bathroom makeover, but the one I will copy is the tape roads - I have an after school club of 9 children tomorrow for 3 hours - guess what we're going to do!!!!

I love your blog! I am so glad that I found it! I like the header of your blog, when you say you get a negative response from people when you say you are a stay at home mother. I think being a mom is very important! It is one of the most important jobs around. Your blog is full of great ideas, I just became a follower.

You are very talented..but at the end of a hard day of being a mean mom, my favorite post is the one you wrote about being the mean one. Don't we all feel that way? I need to spend more one on one time with my kids being a fun mom so I loved your ideas. Thanks for sharing so many great ideas!

Hi! Thanks for stopping by! I love your idea for a dress-up box! My son has autism, and for a very long time, took everything literally, so dressing up was not an option. Now however, it's his favorite thing, and his sister is into to! Such a great idea - I need to head to the dollar store!
But, all of your ideas are fabulous. I too am a SAHM, and tired of the eye-rolls when I say it's my full-time job. I started working at 12 until I had my son at age 25, and being a mom is by far the hardest (albeit best) job I have ever had! Thanks for putting it out there!
