I don’t know about you, but I am glad Halloween is over. It not my favorite. And I am kinda on Halloween project overload. So I picked some of my favorite NON Halloween projects to share today. Since I just entered blog land a couple months ago I had some SERIOUS catching up to do. That being said, some of these projects are recent and some are from a while ago. But they are all fabulous!
The color drew me right in when it came to this wreath and then I read that it was acorns! I love cheap crafts that don’t look cheap. It is gorgeous!!! And she gives a tutorial! Kate from See Kate Sew did such a great job:)
The Idea Room was the first “mom” or “craft” blog I ever saw. It was a few months ago that I found it and I love it. One of Amy’s projects that makes me wish I had a girl was her butterfly collage. She has a tutorial on how she did it too. Maybe I could do it with other bugs for my boys. . . (the wheels are turning)
Amanda at The Hand Me Down House is, in a word, A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. I just found her and was on her site forever! Like, I was on so long that it was border line creepy stalker-ish. You will love her stuff! The first project that caught my eye was her painted drapes. She’s a girl after my own heart cause I PAINT FABRIC all the time! But unlike me, she has a tutorial with pictures.
And Donna, oh Donna. My Canadian BFF. Not really, she doesn’t know who I am! But I love her site. I feel like I am flipping through the pages of a magazine. A casual, homey magazine. I grew up with a mom who collected antiques. Old worn antiques. Maybe that’s why I feel at home at her site. I love her stairs, and her pallet desk. And more recently, she made this sign table. She also has a tutorial.
