I have been without the internet since Wednesday and it was hard at first (I am not going to lie…) but it became a good thing. I realized that I needed to regroup. It wasn’t blogging, it wasn’t getting ready for Studio 5, it wasn’t helping family and friends with projects, it wasn’t yard work,it wasn’t baseball games every night of the week, and it wasn’t my kitchen renovation. It was everything put together that was stressing me out and causing our schedule to be completely out of wack. We had a weekend full of playing and working in the yard. I stopped work on the kitchen and almost everything else. We spent time outside as a family and it was great. Sunday afternoon we sat down and came up with a new schedule. A summer schedule. I feel refreshed and like things may actually work more smoothly now. So there is not an amazing kitchen reveal today. BUT I want to share with you our family pictures we had taken recently by a super talented photographer. I won a giveaway of a free photo shoot. I never win anything so I was so excited!!! We have also NEVER had out pictures taken professionally before. I have always used out camera and a willing neighbor or friend to snap them. Or….. my ironing board. Don’t laugh. It makes a great tripod!
Our fabulous photographer was Melina Moore. You can see her site HERE. If you live in the Salt Lake (or even Utah county) are you need to have her do your next family pictures! She was seriously so great. She was so patient with my 4 boys who would of rather chased ducks around the farm than sit still for shots. :) I love boys…
It was rare for my baby to look at the camera. He kept motioning for the “dog” (the cow) to come over. Every time he called the cow a dog we would crack up!
The farm house there made me want to move right in. I can just picture drinking lemonade on this porch watching my kids play.
Thanks for being patient with me as I get back to blogging after a little break. I am backed up with emails and such. I will try my best to get caught up soon. Have a great week!
