    Fall Mantel {Pink and Magenta!}

    By Stacy 9 Comments

    The leaves have just started to change color in the mountains near our home. We took some time this weekend to drive up and gather some leaves. I had already picked up some mums and white pumpkins at the nursery so I threw together a Fall mantel. A huge shout out to Krista for organizing this Fall mantel blog hop. I love seeing the different ways people decorate for Fall!

    Aside from the inexpensive mums and pumpkins, I used things I already had on hand. I usually grow pumpkins too but didn't this year for some reason. I just shop my house for baskets and pillow covers. Sometimes it pays to be a hoarder ;)

    I take that back, I also got this sign printed for $3 at Office Depot. Engineering prints are anywhere from $2 to $4 depending ont he size and place you order them from. A cheap way to get a large piece of art.

    Feathers, acorns, and pine cones are other favorite fall items that are free.

    Kevin heard the camera clicking and woke up to pose. He loves the camera!

    The leaves only last a few days before they start to dry out, but even though they start to curl a bit, they are still pretty! I keep them up for a few weeks even when they dry out.

    Here is the printable I made. You can click on it and save it to print up to 20"x 30" for your own home.

      Kevin is adorable and a poser. He had to come first. Huge dog lover with two of my own. Love collecting pretty leaves and having nature around. I am an acorn girl. No mums here, to hot and humid still in NJ. Looks lovely and Kevin gets a cute treat for the camera work.

      Enjoy your day

      Beautiful! How refreshing to see your mantel in non-traditional colors. Please tell Kevin that he is over the top gorgeous. And, I would like his autograph!!
