    Book Review and Giveaway!

    By Stacy 74 Comments

I sat by my blogging friend Karah at Haven one day at lunch and we chatted about her book that was going to be coming out soon. She told me what a labor of love it was. And some of what she said helped me make up my mind about finally writing my own book. I loved when her book actually came in the mail! I was so proud of her. The projects are so fun and I think it would make a great gift for the DIYer in your life, or for yourself!

I am happy to give you a sneak peek of Karah's book today and to be able to give a copy away! She did such a fabulous job!

I spend my days combing tag sales, junk piles and my neighbors trash to find creative ways to recycle and reuse discarded items. What a perfect example of using discarded items ( Pallets) and converting them into useful beautiful objects for the home. Congratulations on the publication.

Wow! I knew you could do this!!! I LOVE the subject matter! Living in Maine we "collect" wood pallets to organize our many, MANY cords of wood to heat our home with. It is a carbon neutral system as we plant almost as many trees as we burn! But every year we seem to have a few pallets lying around and I get excited about the things we could do with them!!!

Your book is just the inspiration my husband needs. I have plenty! ;-)
Congrats and very best of wishes on your new book!

I'm generally the type of DIYer who gets her inspiration from seeing other people's designs and then either recreating them exactly as they were or changing up a small piece. I wish I had the intuitive vision and courage to be creative but that gene must have gone to my sister instead. This book has so many great ideas that I'm looking forward to recreating a few for my home. Great job!!

I just saw this on one of friend's friend site. I have these wood pallets in my garage since I moved to the beach, in Ponte Vedra beach, Fl. My husband keeps asking me what am I going to do with these wood pallets that have been in garage now for two years. Now that I can have a wood pallet book to put these wood pallets in my garage to be creative and useful in our new home, what fun cool creative things will I be able to make? Wait and see once I get my book to start son great wood pallet things...thanks to Karah's book!
