Since we are smack dab in the middle of the gorgeous Fall season, I thought it might be fun to share a round up of all the Fall-ish things I have shared here on the blog in the past 6 years. Yep SIX! I just hit my 6th year of blogging and it was fun to have a look back through all my old posts :)
I went a long time without having a fireplace so I only have a few examples to share. This was the first Fall mantel I posted about.
This Fall artwork was a lot easier than it may look and because it is on such thin plywood, it pops in and out of the frame around my TV easily. The tutorial is in the post.
And here is the fall mantel from last year! I added a new top and painted the surround black instead of gold. I also popped in a poster board painted with chalkboard paint instead of the Fall art from the year before.
For the mantel this year I opted to add some cobalt blue to the mix.
Fall Table Settings
Here is my fall tablescape from a few years ago with colorful leaves I gathered from the yard. My table is so small that I can’t do much as far as a centerpiece. This row of leaves was perfectly paired with my DIY candlesticks.
My very first attempt at a tablescape…ever! It was a challenge from Wayfair and I had to use certain items. Since my table is so small and some of the items were big, I pushed the table against the wall. My favorite part though was the acorns in the candle holders.
My Fall table this year had the same theme as always….simple! I let the cake on the gorgeous marble and wood cake stand be the center of attention.
I was challenged by a fellow blogger to come up with a 10 minute Fall decoration and this gold studded pumpkin fit the bill! Can you guess what I used?
You guys! This no sew 5 minute fabric pumpkin was one of my first posts here on my blog!
Fall Home Tours
I don’t do a Fall home tour every year but here is the first one I shared from a few years ago.
This is my Fall home tour from before I painted the whole upstairs white.
And here is my Fall home tour from this year! I went from turquoise to cobalt but either way, blue and orange are one of my favorite autumn pairs.
I kind of use the same elements every year on my porch. Crates, baskets, pumpkins, mums, and ornamental cabbage. It is fun to mix and match them in different ways!
Here is my Fall front porch from this year. I added a garland and some red flowers to shake it up a bit more.
Do you decorate for Fall at all? What is you favorite time of year (or Holiday) to decorate for?
