This year was tough. The quality of projects linked up was out of this world and the judges and I had a hard time narrowing it down. Shane had to step in and be a tie breaker at the end. It was very close. Some years there are clear front runners but not this year. I want to thank all of you who submitted projects. I want you to know that we all think you are extremely talented and I can’t wait to see what you come up with this year in 2016.
I want to thank the judges as well. I could never narrow it down by myself.
I also want to thank the sponsors for donating the prizes for the winner. Home Depot and Ryobi, you ROCK!
Alright, let’s get right to it. Ladies and gentlemen, here are the top 10!!!! (in no particular order)
#1. Glam Closet
Melissa from Polished Habitat created a closet that anyone would envy. I don’t even own very many clothes (and even fewer accessories) and I want to move right in!
#2. Stone Fireplace
Jenny from Evolution of Style completely made over her fireplace. She added that stunning stone and extended it to the ceiling. Gorgeous!
#3. Southwest Guest Room
Ashley from Domestic Imperfection created this guest bedroom. Ummm, when can I come and stay? That brick wall has me swooning!
#4. Built-In Twin Beds
How utterly adorable are these built-in twin beds by Robin from Happy At Home? Plus they have storage above and below. Great use of space!
#5. Industrial Kitchen Makeover
Ashley from Cherished Bliss added industrial farmhouse charm to her kitchen and I am loving the result!
#6. Pallet Fireplace
Stacey from Addison Meadow Lane didn’t have a fireplace so she and her husband built one from scratch! They covered it in pallet wood and the result is rustic perfection.
What little kid doesn’t dream of having their own clubhouse? And then there’s the fact that you can slide down out of this one. Amy from Her Tool Belt knocked this one out of the park.
#8. Entryway Mudroom
What do you do when you don’t have a mudroom? You build one in your entryway! That’s what Sarah from Little Red Brick House did. SO stylish!
#9. Basement Makeover
Basements don’t have to be dark and dreary. This fabulous great room by Liz at Naptime Decorator is proof of that. So many fun details!
#10. Farmhouse Kitchen Makeover
You guys! The first thing I thought when I saw this kitchen was it looked like it came straight from the HGTV show Fixer Upper. Don’t you think Joanna Gaines would love this? Christina from Christina’s Adventures did an amazing job and I want to steal her fridge….
OK, I know this is going to be really hard but I need you to try and pick your favorite. Vote below and tell your friends to come and vote too :)
