I love this contest right up until I have to decided the top ten….. IT WAS SO HARD! Every year you guys up your game. The projects were amazing. And we had a tough time (like pull your hair out, eat chocolate, take deep breaths kind of hard) choosing the top projects.

I am happy I had help. Thank you judges!

Okay, without further adieu, here are the top 10 projects (in no particular order)!

PLEASE VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE AT THE END OF THE POST

I know these are fabulous projects and you probably want to pin them to Pinterest. PLEASE visit their site and pin from the original source. I am sure they would appreciate it :) Thanks!

#2 Play House built by Fynes Designs

After building their home Virginia and her husband saved the left over scraps. They used those scraps to build a playhouse for their two children. It took 4 years of planning and building. Amazing!

#3 Mudroom by Vin Yet Etc.

Laurie and her husband turned the “summer kitchen” in their 1854 farm house into the most incredible mudroom. It is so pretty I don’t think I would ever allow any mud in there!

Number 2 The play house get my vote! Those kids are soooooo lucky to have a mom that is so talented. She had time to
put this all together while taking care of a house, husband ,kids and maybe a dog or two! WOW!

This is tough – there are some great projects here! I vote for two – the Mudroom (3) and the Backyard Makeover (8). But I would say everyone is a winner here!

  5. Amanda Young says

Voting for #2!!! The Play House built by Fynes Designs!! It is gorgeous my little one needs one just like it!

  6. Tanya says

The mudroom is simply amazing. I only aspire one day to have a mudroom like that. Way to incorporate the old with the new :)

  7. Anna says

The playhouse is amazing. 3 got my vote and so do the parents for doing such a wonderful project for their children

  8. Brina says

My vote is for #3 Mudroom! What a gorgeous reno. You can tell the level of work invested in this project is great. Awesome job!

  9. Kim MacDonald says

Hands down it is number 3 for me. I know how hard it is to update an older home but to update and still keep the integrity of that old charm is no easy task. This is done beautifully and you can easily see the attention paid to all details of the room. Excellent job!!!!!

  10. Karen Atwater says

I vote #2 the playhouse. My mother had one when she was little and we played in it as kids everytime we went to my Grandmother’s. It is still standing today and now used by great great great grandchildren. Over 70 years old.

  11. Gerry says

There are some very nice projects here but the best is #3, The mudroom, without a doubt. It looks amazing and I can only imagine the work it took to turn an old room into that. Too nice to kick off boots in.

  12. Jenny says

I vote #2 play house. I’ve read several articles on small houses being built for the homeless and this might inspire people to help. It is big enough to be a guest cottage!
