The voting begins!!!!! Best DIY Contest Top Projects

Holy Cow people! 774 projects were linked up!!! I don’t even want to add up the time I spent in front of the computer last week. Lets just say I skipped lunch a few times and stayed up too late :) I also want to send a HUGE thank you to my guest judges. It would have been nearly impossible to pick and do this on my own.

In all seriousness, you guys blew me away. I was astounded by your creativity and I loved that I found some new blogs to follow. Amazing doesn’t do you guys justice.  I wish I had a prize for all of you.

I think it goes without saying that picking the top projects was painful. SO HARD!!!  And there was a tie for one of the spots. So instead of top 5, we have a top 6 :)

Here they are in no particular order:

I wish I had that closet. It looks like it is about the same size as my bedroom. (Ha-Ha) So that would be my vote.

What a tough decision you had! That platform bed / boxspring cover is at the top of my DIY list this year, so it’s getting my vote. Excellent projects all around! I love the creativity in all of them.

That master bedroom redo was amazing. I cannot believe how many little fantastic projects went into it. I wish it were my room!

Ok, so I feel silly but since I am so new at this … I am hoping you excuse my faux pas. Thank you for choosing my playhouse to be in the top 6. I feel so honored and happy. Thank you thank you thank you everyone for the very sweet comments. I am honored to be in such great company with ALL of you ladies (even those not chosen who are amazing) Gotta run … I have a dog needing me to finish his dog space :) Hug,

That playhouse makes me wish I had stairs. I would have loved something like this when I was a kid and I know my kids would love it too. You can bet if I ever have a house with stairs and young kids at the same time I will have a playhouse. ;-)

So many fun projects, it’s hard to choose just one. But that wallpaper, my goodness, is gorgeous. Stole my vote!
