Amanda from the awesome blog Every Creative Endeavor is here today to show us some of her projects. I have had the chance to meet her a few times and she is a BLAST! We shared a room at a blog conference in April. I love her and I know you are going to love this project.
Hey Everyone!! My name is Amanda and I am the author and creative mind behind Every Creative Endeavor! It is a fun little blog where I blog about anything and everything creative!
First I want to give a big shout out to Stacy and thank her for having me here today! I am one lucky girl because I actually met Stacy in real life and totally fell in love with her darling self! We even snuggled at Creative Estates (well – SHE tried to snuggle with me!) because we were roomies! She is one of those people that you meet and instantly adore! Love her!!
My husband and I bought our home four years ago and have made a lot of improvements since then – our house is one big work in progress but I guess that is how every house is – or so I have been told! I have started a series where I am sharing each room and the progress we have made! I still have lots of ideas so stayed tuned to see what else I have been up to with my remodel!
I love to make thing for my home. I take pride (as I think everyone should!) when I put something I personally made on my front door! Like this Framed Monogram:
I also love to take items and use them in a creative way that they really weren’t meant to be used. For example – this cute little drink tub that I found at Walmart and turned it into a fun little unique flower pot.
I also love to party! I am always looking for fun ideas and ways to add to a party – whether it be just me and my husband on a Friday Night – or a Bunco group I am entertaining for the evening. Either way – this party mix is one mix that everyone loves and talks about. With peanuts, chocolate and nibs, how can you go wrong!? You can click here to see how I made it!
I also enjoy refinishing furniture and have found it to be a fun new hobby! I love thrifting cheap pieces and turning them into something fabulous! Most of the furniture in my daughter’s room is from a cheap find – such as her dresser and glider. I also have some other fun pieces in my home as well.
Each month I host an Every Creative Blog Linky Party and then throughout the month I feature creative blogs who have linked up! It is so much fun and I hope you will join me on the last Sunday of June!
Well that is all for now! I hope you will stop by and say hello and see what else I have creating, I always love meeting new people and making new friends! Thanks again Stacy for having me today – it is so fun to be apart of your amazing blog!
